The AI assistant responds with a human-like voice and helpful guidance, checks available times, and assists with appointment setting and rescheduling.
3. Details and consent are handled
Customers receive clear guidance about their appointment details. Any optional follow-up remains subject to their communication preferences and applicable consent requirements.
SMS opt-in
For customer-initiated booking or rescheduling requests, a business can direct a customer to the Appointment Air opt-in page to review optional SMS appointment follow-ups.
The opt-in page asks for the business name, contact details, and appointment information. The SMS checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. The page currently creates a local opt-in record only; it does not transmit details, register a customer, or book an appointment.
For an active SMS conversation, customers can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies with requested appointment follow-up. Message and data rates may apply.
